My first trip on Mesaba and on the CRJ. Gate agent was very friendly and funny, unlike those at the parent company Northwest. Upon entering the cabin, it became clear why many distaste the CRJ. The 2-2 configuration had everybody sitting shoulder to shoulder, but that is to be expected in such a narrow cabin. The pilots were in high spirits and very talkative for the duration of the flight. The single flight attendant was also very friendly and eager to assist the passengers in any way he could, and we even got a full can of soda. Snack boxes were not an option on the flight, I do not know if this is true with all Mesaba flights.



All in all I was very impressed with Mesaba and its friendly employees, and I would gladly fly them again.
